TERMS & CONDITIONS To enter, you and 2 team members (3 members in total per team) need to complete your team entry on the Connect Competition page. Entries are not complete until Kiwibank has received confirmation of each person’s name, email address and their selected prize. This competition runs from 8:00am Tuesday 2 February 2010 and closes 8:00am Friday 12 March 2010.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents who are registered users of Kiwi Connector. Employees and contractors of Kiwibank and New Zealand Post Group and their immediate families, and Kiwibank’s agents associated with the competition are not eligible to enter. A registered user may only start one team, however they may be a team member of teams set up by other registered Kiwi Connector users. The Prize is: You and your team mates each choose an item you would like to win from the following list of options: -PlayStation® 3 -Sony Eco Bravia 40” LCD TV (model KDL40WE5) -Sony Vaio Series Notebook (model VPCW126AGW) -Guitar Hero® or DJ Hero® -Nike Kicks The winning team will be awarded the three items they choose. Each team member will be awarded a single item they personally select. If any of the team members are unable to be contacted within 30 days, their prize will instead be awarded to the person who started their team who then becomes the rightful owner of the item. Kiwibank customer upgrade: If the winning team initiator is a Kiwibank Tertiary Pack customer by 12 March 2010, they will also personally receive the following: -Free rent for a year (to the maximum value of $600 per month) -A house cleaning service for a year (to the maximum value of $120 per month) To be eligible for the upgrade, entrants must already have a Kiwibank Tertiary Pack or have one set up by the published end date of the promotion. Payments for rent and cleaning will be made monthly in advance and directly to the winner. The winner will be responsible for all/ any payments and responsibilities for these services thereafter. The prize draw will be made on 15 March 2010 and payments will commence on 1 April 2010, Kiwi Connector will recommend a local cleaning service to the winner, and it will be their responsibility to make an agreement with them thereafter to engage their services and make payment to them. Entries for this monthly competition will not be included in any subsequent Connect competition. The first valid and correct entry drawn will win the prize. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid by Kiwibank. Kiwibank reserves the right to verify the validity of entries or entrants at any time, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an invalid entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Kiwibank to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Any person suspected of cheating through the manipulation of entry to the website, creation or use of software to aid in multiple entries and other fraudulent acts will be removed from the competition and/or have their account deleted, at the discretion of Kiwibank. The registered user of the winning team will be notified by phone or email the next business day after the draw and arrangements made to receive the prize. Team members will be contacted thereafter. Kiwibank will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is unable to be contacted within 7 days, the winner’s team entry will be declared invalid and the prize will be redrawn. If, after the registered user has received notification, the prize is unclaimed for 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and be redrawn. Kiwibank is not responsible for any lost prizes not received by the winner. Kiwibank’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed as cash unless specified.
Kiwibank reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of a prize) with another prize of equal or greater value or specification and the right to cancel or amend the competition. By entering the competition, each member of the winning team acknowledges that his or her name and photograph may be used for publicity purposes. Where a prize is provided or sponsored by a third party, each member of the winning team consents to Kiwibank providing the third party with their personal information to enable the dispatch of the prize. Kiwibank is not liable for any negligence, direct or indirect loss or damage arising in any way out of the competition including but not limited to: • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; • theft; • unauthorised access or third party interference; • any distribution of a prize by the registered user to any individual who is not a member of the team • any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered or misdirected; or • any use of a prize. Entry into the competition implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Kiwibank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The personal information collected in respect of each entry may be used by Kiwibank for the purpose of the relevant competition and to provide entrants with information or offers relating to Kiwibank’s products and services. Weekly Competition Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions of entry To enter, simply answer the multi-choice question on the Weekly Competition page. Each weekly competition runs from 10:15am each Monday and closes 10:00am the following Monday. Entry is open to all New Zealand residents who are registered users of Kiwi Connector. Kiwibank will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is unable to be contacted within 7 days, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and the prize will be redrawn. If, after the winner has received notification, the prize is unclaimed for 30 days, the winner will forfeit the prize and the prize will be redrawn. Weekly prizes will be mailed to the winner’s address within 14 working days. Kiwibank is not responsible for any lost prizes not received by the winner.
