Terms and Conditions of entry
To enter, you need to complete your entry on the Connect Competition page. Entries are not complete until Kiwibank has received confirmation of the individual person’s name and email address.
This competition runs from 8:00am Thursday 15 July 2010 and closes 8:00am Wednesday 1 September 2010.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over who are registered users of Kiwi Connector.
Employees and contractors of Kiwibank and the New Zealand Post Group and their immediate families, and Kiwibank’s agents associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.
A registered user may only complete one entry into the competition.
The Prize is: • A Huffer outfit from the ‘Future Antique’ Summer 2011 Collection Kiwibank customer upgrade:
If the registered winner is a Kiwibank customer before 8:00am Wednesday 1 September, they will also receive the following: • Return flights for one person from either Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin to Auckland arriving on (date TBC) and departing on (date TBC) 2010. • Airport transfers for one person between Auckland airport and Huffer – 323 Queen Street, Auckland CBD. • A personal styling session with the Huffer design team. • A CD Prize Pack of Huffer’s favourite albums. To be eligible for the upgrade, the winner must already have a Kiwibank account or have one set up before the published close date and time of the promotion on Wednesday 1 September 2010 at 8:00am.
The prize draw will be made on Thursday 2 September 2010.
Entries for this monthly competition will not be included in any subsequent Connect competition.
The first valid and correct entry drawn will win the prize.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid by Kiwibank. Kiwibank reserves the right to verify the validity of entries or entrants at any time, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an invalid entry or who tampers with the entry process.
Failure by Kiwibank to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Any person suspected of cheating through the manipulation of entry to the website, creation or use of software to aid in multiple entries and other fraudulent acts will be removed from the competition and/or have their account deleted, at the discretion of Kiwibank.
The winning registered entrant will be notified by phone or email the next business day after the draw and arrangements made to receive the prize.
Kiwibank will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is unable to be contacted within 7 days, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and the prize will be redrawn.
If, after the registered user has received notification, the prize is unclaimed for 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and be redrawn.
Kiwibank is not responsible for any lost prizes not received by the winner.
Kiwibank’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed as cash unless specified.
Kiwibank reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of a prize) with another prize of equal or greater value or specification and the right to cancel or amend the competition.
By entering the competition, the winning entrant acknowledges that his or her name and photograph may be used for publicity purposes.
Where a prize is provided or sponsored by a third party, the winning entrant consents to Kiwibank providing the third party with their personal information to enable the dispatch of the prize and to abide by their specified terms and conditions.
Kiwibank is not liable for any negligence, direct or indirect loss or damage arising in any way out of the competition including but not limited to: • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; • theft; • unauthorised access or third party interference; • any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered or misdirected; or • any use of a prize.
Entry into the competition implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Kiwibank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The personal information collected in respect of each entry may be used by Kiwibank for the purpose of the relevant competition and to provide entrants with information or offers relating to Kiwibank’s products and services. Entrants may look at and request correction of any personal information held by Kiwibank upon request.
Weekly Competition Terms and Conditions

Each weekly competition runs from 10:15am each Monday and closes 10:00am the following Monday.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents who are registered users of Kiwi Connector.
Employees and contractors of Kiwibank and New Zealand Post Group and their immediate families, and Kiwibank’s agents associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.
Only one entry will be accepted per person.

All entries received during the weekly competition period will be included in the relevant weekly draw. Entries for one weekly competition will not be included in any subsequent weekly competition.
Each weekly prize will be drawn at 5pm on the first business day after the end of the weekly competition period. The first valid and correct entry drawn will win the weekly prize.

Twitter Competition Terms and Conditions
To enter, Twitter members must re-tweet the competition message posted by Kiwi Connector each week. The message posted by Kiwi Connector which is associated with the competition will be clearly identified as such.
The competition tweet will be visible to all Twitter followers, and needs to be copied and posted on Twitter by each entrant with ‘RT @kiwiconnector’ as the prefix and the full competition copy of the message.
The start time of the competition is the post time of the original message from @kiwiconnector, and the entry close time and date is as marked in the original message.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents who re-tweet the original competition message from @kiwiconnector within the entry start and close times.
Employees and contractors of Kiwibank and New Zealand Post Group and their immediate families, and Kiwibank’s agents associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.

Kiwibank will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner, but if the winner is unable to be contacted within 48 hours of notification, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and the prize will be redrawn.
Prizes will be mailed to the winner’s address within 14 working days. Kiwibank is not responsible for any lost prizes not received by the winner.
